With Ariana DeBose - Variety Show

Pinkhouse Founder/Producer Lawryn LaCroix and Ariana DeBose are together developing a fresh approach to the traditional variety show. The collaborators plan to create a throw back to the golden era of variety shows in the United States which spanned roughly from the late 1940s through the 1980s, with its peak popularity between 1948 and 1980. This period coincided with the early years of television, when the medium was still largely live and network programming was dominated by a few major formats.

This fresh take on a traditional format offers a series of song and dance to be interwoven in a theatrical context. The project is a love letter to the golden years of entertainment and the entertainers who made the magic.
